Milton keynes

todays adventure was to see the buddhist peace monument in milton keynes- there were lots of these erected after hiroshima all over the world to promote peace and friendship.
this isn't the original- it's beautiful though, I think so anyway!
:D

there are the stories of Buddha found the outside of the monument and offerings by the statue.

Pete & Jules being touristy- honestly we all had dslrs or compact slrs we looked like proper tourists!

"wake boarding" in the park! how amazing does that look? theire getting pulled round on like a "cable car" system- they made it look so easy doing all the jumps and stuff. I'd love to have a go! (if I liked water better...)

signs by the lake- LOOK at it- like anyone wants to go anywhere near that water- it was really smelly too. no ta.

Labyrinth! apparently they're mystic and spiritual - the tree represents the virgin in the middle! that I never knew- asking for hands in marriage has gotten easier over the centuries.
