Sunday dinner & football (yes, you read that right)

the wife made us sunday dinner- but with sausages instead of chicken..yummy :) we were going to take it to the park and have a sunday-dinner-pic-nic but it rained and was all grey and cloudy.

we didn't risk it.

maybe next sunday :D

after dinner he made us go and play football in the park- I was totally rubbish. it was really really funny tho!

look! autum is almost completely upon us! the trees are turning! such pretty colour though and even if its a bit rainy the weather is quite warm- its lush to still be outside without a jacket this time of year!

what happened to privacy?

OK, so I can understand an employer wanting to know if an employee is taking crack or meth or heroin- but surely that would be obvious?
I'm not condoning drug use for recreational reasons, but I'm just saying, surely what you do on the weekends is for you to decide, not your employer- I can understand that for some jobs- especially dangerous jobs where you need your wits about you or for positions of responsibility- employers expectation is that staff will come to work capable of doing their job and not off their tits/ endangering anyone else.
but this test works for prescription antidepressants, sleeping/anxiety medication and painkillers- that is certainly no busness of your employer. thats your GPs problem- and they have to uphold patent confidentiality so what gives companies the right be to be so intrusive?

I'm sorry, but this really touched a nerve!

this is a comercally available device advertised for use by employers and its so "easy to use" it doesn't even need lab confirmation (although it is advised).
pregnancy tests aren't 100% accurate and they work on the same principal.

I thought this was a field- just before I stepped onto it I realised its a really algae-fied pond. fail!

I think this is the embankment- I'm not 100% either way its pretty- and MILES from my house- I walked the most arse backwards route! never mind, it was worth it- look at the trees turning! autumn is upon us with its pretty colours and conkers.

I love the way smells hang in the air when its autumn.

soo pretty see! and sunny, but cool- its weird how seasons come-on differently here to in cardiff- I'd forgotten it can be a gradual change rather than just endless torrential rain singaling the end of sunlight until july next year like in cardiff!

the reason for the adventure... Thank you for my post! I love letters! they always cheer me up. theres something so lovely about receiveing post- and not knowing what it is, and guessing who its from! I'm not that into big surprises, but I like getting letters!

after my epic walk and all the excitement of my post and being accosted by a woman from liverpool (why do all the crazy ones want to talk to me?!)  so I ran away from her.

that landed me in the middle of town, and I figure after 2 hours of walking that I needed something yummy- I went to the thai resturant on tavistock street!
yummmy! and loads of it- and the waitresses are thai!

the food was awesome, the service was awesome! the place was classy! it was all awesome!

deffo be going again!
